Food packaging and packaging systems for fresh products are the core-business of this area of CCPL. Coopbox Group Group is the chief company in the Group and is a leading concern in both Italy and Europe when it comes to complete packaging proposals and advanced research into new products and technologies.
Coopbox was established in 1972 following the re-conversion of the Bibbiano brickwork and launched the diversification process that the industrial sector of CCPL underwent. After almost 40 years in the business, Coopbox Group has now achieved a standing of competitive excellence in the field of food packaging and packaging systems for fresh products.

With a 130 million euro turnover and over 720 employees, the Coopbox Group has factories, sales offices and subsidiaries in Italy, Spain (with Coopbox Hispania and Dynaplast), Slovakia (with Coopbox Eastern), France (with Promatec).Another French enterprise joined this business area in August 2011, i.e. ONO, which numbers some 150 employees and also has facilities in Portugal and Morocco.

2012 saw Coopbox GroupGroup strengthen its standing as a continental player, leader in the Mediterranean area despite the economic downturn that affected Italy and, although with different intensities, the other European countries.
