 | CCPL Group’s Art Collection comprises over three-hundred works that the Group began to acquire in 1994 and has added to over the years.
The collection includes unique and multiple items comprising photographs, engravings and artistic works dating from the end of the Second World War to the present day.
The most recent acquisitions are by historicized artists who have left traces in the history of Italian art, with special focus on Pop Art, but also excellent works from the Emilia region, comprising paintings, photographs, engravings and sculptures.
The historicized masters include Enzo Brunori, Arturo Carmassi, Enrico Della Torre, Pompilio Mandelli, Mattia Moreni and Riccardo Licata, but there are also examples of the research conducted by Valerio Adami, Lucio Del Pezzo, Concetto Pozzati and Emilio Tadini, exponents of Italian Pop Art.
The collection also features the works of several artists from Emilia recognized and appreciated throughout Italy, from the generation of Vittorio Cavicchioni, Carlo Mattioli, Gino Gandini and Marco Gerra, to Davide Benati, Omar Galliani, Franco Guerzoni, Graziano Pompili, Alfonso Borghi and many others.
A separate section has been dedicated to 16th century frescoes: a prestigious pictorial cycle salvaged from Palazzo Vicedomini in Reggio Emilia before it was demolished.
